How it Works

Hair grows in three stages — anagen, catagen, and telogen. The hair follicle is connected to the root and actively growing in the anagen stage, but it disconnects from the root and starts shrinking in the catagen and telogen phases. That’s why laser energy can only destroy the hair follicles in the anagen phase during the treatment, so you need successive sessions over multiple months to destroy all the unwanted hair follicles. Pre-Treatment

Stop prolonged sun exposure or self tanner 4 weeks prior to and during your treatment regimen

Avoid waxing, tweezing, or depilatory use for 6 weeks.

Avoid irritants such as products containing glycolic acid or Retin-A in the area for 5 to 7 days.

No Accutane for 6 months prior to treatment.

Shave the desired treatment area the night before laser treatment.

No makeup/lotion/deodorant/perfumes on the day of your appointment (on the treatment area), as this can and will cause a burn.

Post-Treatment

Redness & Bumps are normal

Cleanse the area and treat gently

The treated area may be washed gently with a mild soap. Skin should be patted dry & not rubbed during the first 48 hours.

No makeup & lotion/moisturizer/deodorant for the first 24 hours

Avoid the sun

Do not pick/scratch/wax/thread/tweeze the area
