The Answers to your Questions
You’re a suitable candidate for dermaplaning if you want a brighter and more radiant complexion. This is one of the only skin rejuvenation treatments suitable for pregnant women, those who are nursing, or people with sensitive skins.
During the dermaplaning session, your cosmetic provider will run a 10-gauge scalpel against your skin at a 45-degree angle. The scalpel will scrape away the dead skin cells and impurities from your skin’s surface. Finally, we’ll apply a concoction of serums, vitamins, and nutrients to your skin.
Dermaplaning doesn’t involve any side effects. Your skin might look a little flushed, and you may experience temporary redness, dryness, or flaking, but only for a few hours.
You should avoid heavy workouts and additional exfoliation for 24 hours after dermaplaning. However, you can resume your daily activities and work immediately.
You can have a derma planing treatment as frequently as one per week; however, we recommend at least once a month.
